There are many commads and programs to convert python script to an executable. However, many of them are bad or unreliable. I will discuss two tools, one for making windows executables(.exe) and one for making MacOS X executables (.app). If you want to make an .exe file from python, look no further than pyinstaller. pyinstaller makes double clickable executables that alwys work. It creates excessively large output, but its pros outweigh this issue. For more info go to pyinstaller.org. If you want to create a .app file, there is an amazing tool named platypus. You can create an app from python, ruby, perl, JavaScript, and many other coding languages, all through a user-friendly GUI. It is truly the best app bundler i have ever seen. For more info, go to sveinbjorn.org/platypus.
